This policy sets forth the terms and conditions under which PRESTA MODULE, acting as “data controller,” receives, uses, and stores the personal data of users (“Users”) of the recreviews.com website (“Website”) and customers of the Rec.Reviews service (“Customers”). PRESTA MODULE guarantees compliance with the personal data protection laws (French law no. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, referred to as the “Data Protection Act,” and the European Regulation on data protection no. 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, known as “GDPR”).

Types of Personal Data Collected. Data sent by Users via the contact form on the Website (first/last name, email, phone) and by Customers via their customer account (first/last name, email, phone, login information).

The YouTube API Client is used to send the reviews on the platform to the right playlist. To do so and while configuring the YouTube integration, API Client is used to retrieve the list of your YouTube playlists and the final video URL after it has been uploaded We are not accessing or recognizing cookies or similar technology on users devices or browsers.

In addition to the YouTube & API Services's normal procedure for deleting stored data, the access can be revoked via the Google Security Settings

Recipients. PRESTA MODULE, any subcontractors, and, with the consent of the person whose personal data has been collected, any authorized third parties.

Purposes. Use of the Site, Provision of the Rec.Reviews Service, Managing prospect and client files, Discussion with Users and Customers.

Security and Hosting. PRESTA MODULE has implemented security measures to reduce the risk of destruction, loss, and unauthorized or noncompliant processing or viewing, even if accidental, of the data, and its subcontractors have presented sufficient guarantees. PRESTA MODULE verifies the validity and provenance of the SSL certificate used for the HTTPS connection to prevent data entered on the Website from being retrieved by a third party (Internet Service Provider or any other server that handles data entered between the Users and Customers, and the web server). However, given the inherent risks of using the internet, it is impossible to exclude all risks of unauthorized access or data loss. Users and Customers are advised to use software tools to ensure the protection of network data transmitted/received (up-to-date antivirus systems) and ensure that the Internet Service Provider has taken the necessary steps to ensure the safety of transmission of network data (firewalls, for example). Customers are forbidden from disclosing their password to any third parties or storing it unencrypted on physical or virtual media. The collected data are hosted by the hosting provider indicated in the legal notices published on the Website on secure servers located within the EU.

Retention Period. Data communicated by the Users and Customers: throughout the duration of the contractual relationship plus three years after its end; three years maximum after collection or last contact; one month maximum after request for deletion.

Exercising Your Rights. Your rights to data access, modification, withdrawal of consent, data portability, objection, and data deletion can be exercised by sending postal mail or email to the addresses indicated in the legal notices. Claims can be filed with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL, 3 Place de Fontenoy, 75007 Paris, France) or with the competent authorities.

Transmission by Customers to PRESTA MODULE of their phone or email information is deemed to be express agreement to be directly contacted using these communication methods and to receive notifications and alerts.
